Reporting infringement

The Walled Garden website is owned and operated by Haspari LLC, and the Walled Garden iOS and Android applications are published and operated by Resonant Labs. Walled Garden hosts only music licensed directly from its artists, and takes claims of infringement seriously. If you believe a recording or composition on Walled Garden infringes a copyright you own or represent, send a notice to our designated copyright agent with the subject line “DMCA notice”. You do not need an account.

What a notice must include

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
• The URL or title of the material on Walled Garden you want removed
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them
• Your physical or electronic signature

What happens next

Valid notices result in prompt removal of the material and notice to the uploading artist, who may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Repeat infringers have their accounts terminated and any withheld payouts frozen pending resolution.
