Reporting infringement

Walled Garden is operated by Haspari LLC. It hosts only music licensed directly from its artists, and takes claims of infringement seriously. If you believe a recording or composition on Walled Garden infringes a copyright you own or represent, email our copyright agent at gardeners@wearewalledgarden.com with the subject line “DMCA notice”. You do not need an account.

What a notice must include

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
• The URL or title of the material on Walled Garden you want removed
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them
• Your physical or electronic signature

What happens next

Valid notices result in prompt removal of the material and notice to the uploading artist, who may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Repeat infringers have their accounts terminated and any withheld payouts frozen pending resolution.
