Walled Garden

Human-Led Artist Policy

Walled Garden is a platform for real human artists, singers, composers, producers, bands, ensembles, labels, and human-led creative projects.

The core rule

No artist joins Walled Garden without human review. Walled Garden approves artists, not every song.

Every artist must confirm

  • • They are a real human artist, band, composer, producer, ensemble, label, or human-led creative project.
  • • They have meaningful human authorship or human creative direction in the music.
  • • They are not submitting a fake artist identity.
  • • They are not mass-uploading automated catalog filler.
  • • They are not uploading music they do not control.
  • • They have cleared samples and collaborator rights.
  • • They accept that Walled Garden may remove music or withhold payouts for fraud, rights disputes, fake identity, unauthorized voice cloning, or policy violations.

Trust but verify

Approved artists are trusted to publish their own work without per-release approval. The platform still monitors for suspicious upload volume, catalog flooding, rights disputes, stolen music claims, unauthorized voice cloning, deceptive AI identities, mass-generated filler, bot listening, and abnormal payout patterns. Reasonable upload limits exist to prevent automated catalog abuse, never to restrict real artists: one release per day, 25 tracks per day across releases, and up to 75 tracks in a day when they all belong to a single large release like a box set or compilation. Bigger catalog transfers are arranged on request.
